Rejner Art Foundation was founded by Michał Rejner out of a need to create an open space for art, craftsmanship, and social collaboration. The foundation manages the "Atelier under the Crane" – an artistic space located in a revitalized hall of the Narrow-Gauge Railway Repair Workshops of Upper Silesia – and works towards further revitalization of additional buildings within this post-industrial complex.The Foundation's mission is to support artists regardless of their discipline – be it painting, sculpture, music, dance, or other forms of expression – and to increase access to art. Rejner Art Foundation creates a space where art can be experienced freely, without barriers or judgment.
The Foundation aims to build a meeting place – a vibrant center of creativity where everyone, regardless of age or experience, can get closer to art, participate in it, and co-create it.
